Chapter 26: A Window on Acupuncture Research in China: Systematic Review of Clinical Trials in Treating Low Back Pain, Headache, and Infertility
Federico Marmori is from European Foundation of Chinese Traditional Medicine and the Acupuncture Department, Vithas Medimar Hospital; Yang Shuo, Zhang Huamin, Li Zongyou, Tong Yuanyuan, Liu Yang, He Wei, Yin Renfang, Yang Kunjie, and Zhang Lei are from Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Information Institute, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences; Claudia Skopalik and Carlos Llopis are from European Foundation of Chinese Traditional Medicine, and they have collaborated in presenting this work on acupuncture treatment of low back pain, headache, and infertility in China, within the scope of the CHETCH project. Review and analysis of 11,237 papers, including 3,938 on headache, 6,723 on low back pain, and 576 on infertility, have been carried out to assess the efficacy of acupuncture treatment. Data information has been extracted from major scientific and academic databases such as CNKI, CBM, and PubMed.
