    Abstract:

The paper prepares Cu/Al composite sheets through the way of interface micro-alloying and cold-rolled composite. And it studies the peel strength, interface structures and the growth process of metal compounds by using such methods as SEM, XRD etc. The main research harvests are as follows :(1) The interfacial peel strength of Cu/Al composite sheets reaches a maximum number at the conditions of 550°C, heat 1h; (2) Interfacial structures at the interface of Cu/Al composite sheets are CuAl2, Al5Cu6Mg2, CuAlCu9Al4 at the conditions of 500°C, heat 1h; (3) The growth process of metal compounds as follows: incubation period → local nucleation → new nucleation and growth along the interface → growth along the interface into pieces → growth along the direction perpendicular to the interface.
