RECENT DEVELOPMENTS ON EMBEDDING THEORIES OF SPACETIME
Preview AbstractWe review two recent developments on five-dimensional embedding theories of the spacetime: the embedding of branes, which is related to the Campbell-Magaard theorem, and the dynamics of particles in the context of the induced-matter theory. In the latter case, we show that there are two different ways of treating the anomalous acceleration of particles: the foliation and the embedding approach.
