Here we report our research on quantum-dot structures with collective barriers surrounding groups of quantum dots (planes, clusters etc) and preventing photoelectron capture. Employing Monte-Carlo simulations, we investigate photoelectron kinetics and calculate the photoelectron lifetime as a function of geometrical parameters of the structures, dot occupation, and electric field. Results of our simulations demonstrate that the capture processes are substantially suppressed by the potential barriers and enhanced in strong electric fields. Detailed analysis shows that the effects of the electric field can be explained by electron heating, i.e. field effects become significant, when the shift of the electron temperature due to electron heating reaches the barrier height. Optimized photoelectron kinetics in quantum-dot structures with collective barriers allows for significant improvements in the photoconductive gain, detectivity, and responsivity of photodetectors based on these structures.

The experimental data on the capture and evaporation residue cross-sections obtained in the ⁴⁸Ca+²⁰⁸Pb reaction were analyzed in the framework of the dynamical model based on the dinuclear system concept and advanced statistical method to clarify the reaction mechanism. The experimental excitation function of the capture reactions was decomposed into contributions of the fusion–fission, quasifission and fast-fission processes. Total evaporation residues and ones after neutron emission were only calculated and compared with the available experimental data.

A differential game described by a nonlinear system of differential equations is considered in a finite-dimensional Euclidean space. The value set of the pursuer control is a finite set. The value set of the evader control is a compact set. The purpose of the pursuer is a translation of the system in a finite time to any given neighborhood of zero. The pursuer uses a piecewise open-loop strategy constructed only by using information on the state coordinates and the velocity in the partition points of a time interval. In the past work, sufficient conditions were obtained for existence of a neighborhood of zero from which the capture occurs. The statement of the capture theorem contains such a condition that some vectors set up a positive basis. In this research, we consider the case when these vectors set up a one-sided set. For this case, sufficient conditions are obtained for existence of a set of initial position, from which the capture occurs.

Nowadays, it is essential to capture and evaluate student action in the physical education classroom to assess their behavior. Every student’s performance is unique in physical activity. Every time, the staff or trainer cannot watch and evaluate the students individually. At the university level, the use of classroom capture systems is becoming more widespread. However, due to technology’s recent growth and application, the research on classroom capture systems’ efficacy in university classrooms has been minimal. This paper is proposed for the student action capture and evaluation system. Image preprocessing is the process of preparing pictures for use in model training and inference. This covers resizing, orienting, and color adjustments, among other things. As a result, a change that can be an augmentation in certain cases can be better served as a pretreatment step in others. The DL-IF uses cloud technology for data storage and evaluation. DL-IF uses the imaging technology to monitor students’ actions and responses in the classroom. The image data are evaluated based on the trained set of data provided in DL-IF’s Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The evaluation of unique individuality in every student’s performance is reported to the respective trainer. The simulation analysis of the proposed method DL-IF proves that it can monitor, capture and evaluate every student’s action in all physical activity classrooms. Hence, it proved that this framework could work with high accuracy and minimized mean square error rate.

Education is a dynamic system by which students perceive the factors necessary to fit them into the society. Education is mainly intentional learning that grooms individuals to achieve success in their adult lives. Evaluation of teaching techniques, course management (CM), communication, and student monitoring are the main characteristics of today’s education system. The aim to plan the curriculum of education management in both schools and colleges leads to the implementation of an MS-BDA. The development process for evaluation of teaching techniques and CM includes the use of the sentiment analysis method, which assesses the emotional feelings of students studying the course by managing curriculum quality. The big data analysis with MNN is developed by considering the communication and student monitoring system. This system evaluates the monitoring model provided in MS-BDA for assessing student communication on merging the voice-over with the communication language processing system. The simulation analysis is performed based on accessibility, adaptability, and efficiency, proving the proposed framework’s reliability. Therefore, the system outputs an accuracy of 99.1% when compared to the existing methods.

It is very important for the brain study to design a multi-channel and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) bio-medical signal capture, record, and analysis system, which can effectively enhance accuracy and precision of the signal capture under dozens to hundreds of microvolts. Unfortunately, the system for data acquisition is very easily interfered by the environment, the power, and the bio-amplifier, so that the results will lead to a failed promotion of capturing high SNR signals, especially in the tiny brain wave signal. In this study, it has been designed an inexpensive, purpose-built, high SNR brainwave signals measurement system. The system is composed of an improved capture system, record system, and analysis system. To better consider the strength and characteristics of the tiny brainwave signals, the system was designed to include a suitable bio-amplifier to make each channel of the invasive microelectrode able to collect the brainwave signals correctly and it provides recording and analysis software, which can not only extract the characteristics of brainwave signals, but also quickly classify signals. The system can collect biological signals from 10$\mu$V to 420$\mu$V and has a high SNR$>$30. The proposed system is easy to make and can be fabricated for the relatively low cost of only US$203. The brain wave signals from the three actions can also be easily classified, with a correct rate up to 46.70%. The system has six improvements: good SNR, the ability to capture small signals, modularity, a low price, easy fabrication, and simple operation.

The pathway toward the production of superheavy elements crosses with the one of an in depth study of the fission and quasifission processes. Quasifission affects the probability of forming a compound nucleus after capture and fission plays a decisive role during the cooling of the compound nucleus. To search for optimal reactions to produce superheavy elements in fusion reactions and to provide an estimate of their production cross section measurements of the capture and fusion cross sections along with the survival probabilities are a mandatory task. In this presentation an overview of the impact of fission and quasifission over the synthesis of superheavy elements is discussed along with the need to perform measurements over a wide range of masses and energies.
