A semi-submersible vehicle has most of its body submerged in the water, while keeping a small platform above the water surface for communication and access to atmospheric air. This vehicle has low visibility, good seaworthiness and low-wave drag in certain speed regimes, and thus, it is potentially suited for special military and civil applications. The main objective of this study is to report on construction and testing of a small, low-cost vehicle of this type, as well as initial tests in open water to characterize its power requirements and trim values at different speeds and settings and to demonstrate some functional capabilities. The vehicle was operated under remote manual control and instrumented with a variety of sensors gathering internal and environmental information. The presented description of the designed system, construction, sensors, data acquisition and control and communication systems, as well as test results, can benefit engineers interested in developing semi-submersible vehicles.
Spacecraft pipeline is an important part of the spacecraft, the precision of the pipeline system, development cycle and reliability directly affect the reliability of the whole satellite and spacecraft. In this paper, according to the characteristics of the spacecraft pipeline, designed a remote control system of flexible assembly platform, applying Zigbee technology, and realized the data communication between the upper computer and the assembly robot (three coordinate locator). Pipe assembly robot in the platform can be controlled remotely, making space pipeline assembly platform more convenient, efficient and reliable, further shortened the spacecraft pipe assembly cycle, improve the accuracy and reliability of the pipe assembly.
This paper aims to design a household appliances remote control system by STC89C58RD+ and ENC28J60. The system realizes network communication between Single chip microcomputer (SCM) and IPv4 by simple TCP/IP; The SCM realizes simultaneous controlling of several appliances by infrared communication. The website is able to accept requests of several users; The network programming processes communication between corresponding SCM, so as to providing a program of multi-user remote controlling multiple appliances. The test on electric cooker shows that this program is able to remotely control the electric cooker through the Internet.
The ultrasonic flaw detection equipment with remote control interface is researched and the automatic verification system is developed. According to use extensible markup language, the building of agreement instruction set and data analysis method database in the system software realizes the controllable designing and solves the diversification of unreleased device interfaces and agreements. By using the signal generator and a fixed attenuator cascading together, a dynamic error compensation method is proposed, completes what the fixed attenuator does in traditional verification and improves the accuracy of verification results. The automatic verification system operating results confirms that the feasibility of the system hardware and software architecture design and the correctness of the analysis method, while changes the status of traditional verification process cumbersome operations, and reduces labor intensity test personnel.
