ANTIPROTON-PROTON RESONANT LIKE CHANNELS IN formula DECAYS

The BES collaboration has recently observed a strong enhancement close to the proton-antiproton, formula threshold in the J/ψ decays into formula. Such a structure can be explained by a traditional nucleon-antinucleon, formula, model. The near threshold 11S0 bound state and/or the well-established 13P0 resonant state found in this formula interaction can adequately describe the BES data.

Beyond the International Entrepreneurial Orientation–International Performance Nexus: Early or Late Internationalisation of SMEs?

Currently, knowledge around the role of international entrepreneurial orientation (IEO) on different types of internationalisation is limited. This study aims to unveil whether and how IEO can improve international performance by focusing on the model adopted in the internationalisation process (a traditional versus born global model). Data were collected from 221 internationalised French small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and analysed using a structural equation model. The results highlight that IEO had a significant positive effect on both international economic performance and export turnover for born globals, but not older firms. When we consider the IEO subdimensions, the findings show a stronger positive impact of both international proactiveness and innovativeness on the number of foreign markets and on export turnover for born globals. The study guides international SME managers on why and how they should adjust the IEO of their firms according to their internationalisation models to achieve superior performance internationally.

Investigation of Rotating Eddy Current Testing Simulation Using Simplified Model

To reduce the time of simulation for rotating Eddy current testing (RECT) technique, a simplified model without modeling probe was proposed previously. However, the applicability of the simplified simulation model was unknown. In this paper, the applicability of the simplified model for the RECT technique was investigated. The application condition of the simplified model was provided by comparing it with the results of the traditional simulation model. The simplified model was suitable for the study of cracks shorter than 70% size of the uniform Eddy current induced by the probe in a traditional model or experiment. The experiment was conducted to validate the simplified model. Moreover, using the simplified model, the effects of crack depth, orientation, and exciting frequency were studied. The deeper the crack depth was, the greater peak value of Bz signal was. The crack angle was linear with the phase of signal. The exciting frequency affected the amplitude and phase of the signal at the same time.

Vibration characteristics simulation and comparison of traditional cab system model and seat–cab coupled model for trucks

To define the application fields of the traditional cab system model and the seat–cab coupled model, this paper mainly aims to investigate the differences of the vibration characteristics of the two models. First, the two models and their motion equations were introduced. Then, based on the mechanical parameters of the seat and cab system for a truck, the transmissibility characteristics of the two models were analyzed. The results show that the traditional model can relatively accurately predict the pitch and roll vibration characteristics of the real seat–cab system. However, it overvalues the vertical vibration transmitted from the front suspensions of the cab. Third, the typical excitation conditions and the measuring points were selected. Finally, under the typical excitation conditions, the dynamic responses of the measuring points were calculated. The results show that under the vertical excitation condition, the dynamic responses of the two models have obvious differences. Under the roll excitation condition and the pitch excitation condition, the roll responses and the pitch responses of the cab between the two models show almost no obvious difference. Under the random excitation condition, the vertical acceleration responses have relatively larger deviations between the two models, however, the angular acceleration responses are almost the same. For the preliminary design of the cab system, the traditional cab system model can be used. However, for the accurate design and the optimization of the seat–cab system, the seat–cab coupled model is recommended.
