Submission Guidelines

  1. Submission of Manuscripts:
    • Manuscripts are to be submitted online via Editorial Manager (EM), a fully web-based submission, peer-review, and tracking system. Manuscript submitted by email to ddm@wspc.com will be accepted only when there are problems in the online submission system.
    • New Authors: If you are submitting via the online system for the first time, you will first be required to register. From the account you create, you will be able to monitor your submission and make subsequent submissions.

  2. Submission of a manuscript indicates a tacit understanding that the paper is not actively under consideration for publication with other journals.

  3. Publication ethics: More information can be found here.

  4. Copyright: Data-Driven Modelling is an open access journal. Authors of articles published in the journal retain the copyright to the articles and have their final version of their articles published with immediate and unrestricted access.

All articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY) License or any Creative Commons License that the author has chosen. Further distribution of these works is permitted, provided the original work is properly cited. For further details, see here.

  5. Article Processing Charge: The Article Processing Charge (APC) is US$1,500, plus VAT or any local taxes where applicable in your country. Visit our Open Access page for discount and waiver policies.

  6. Article formatting
Comprehensibility of Manuscript All new submissions must be written in clear English. Authors must ensure that the linguistic standard of their submissions is sufficiently high before submitting to the journal. Submissions can be rejected on linguistic grounds. Any manuscript which does not conform to the instructions may be returned to authors for revision before publication.

Abstract and Keywords: Provide an abstract of not more than 200 words describing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the study. Select about four to six keywords which do not duplicate words in the title. Composite words can be selected such as "Discrete systems", which is counted as one keyword. Do not abbreviate keywords.

Authors are strongly encouraged to typeset their submissions using the LaTeX2e style files provided.
