Aims & Scope

About

The Encyclopedia with Semantic Computing and Robotic Intelligence (ESCRI) publishes the recent technological advances in semantic computing and robotic intelligence. The ESCRI is not only comprehensive in its coverage, but also unique in that it is a research journal comprising of concise notes (less than 10 pages) of original discoveries and results on all aspects of this broad subject, which involve physics, biology, psychology, computer science and engineering.

ESCRI will be published in multiple volumes on multiple subjects, both online and off-line. The first volume of ESCRI will be on Semantic Computing whose scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Data science, artificial intelligence
  • Big data and deep learning
  • Linked data and semantic Web
  • Semantics description language
  • Data integration
  • Service integration
  • Natural language processing and understanding
  • Multimedia computing
  • Multi-modal interface
  • Applications
The second volume of ESCRI will be on Robotic Intelligence whose scope includes, but is not limited to:
  • Representation, integration and use of semantics for problem solving
  • Semantic human-robot and robot-robot interface
  • Deep conversation between human and robot
  • IoT and Internet operating system
  • Summary and presentation of semantics
  • Multi-modal robot expression
