Polarization sensing and imaging methods are emerging tools for biomedical and clinical applications. This Special Issue will highlight recent work and developments in the field of Polarization-Based Biomedical Imaging. The topics include cutting-edge polarimetric biophotonic research and innovative new tools and techniques but are not limited to: polarization sensing and imaging, tissue polarimetry and spectroscopy, polarization-based diagnostics and therapies, polarimetric image processing, machine learning assisted polarization-based technologies.
Original research papers and review articles are both welcome. Manuscripts will be internationally peer-reviewed. Topics we specifically seek to cover include but are not limited to the following:
