Call for Papers
Special Issue on Chinese-Russian (CR) Workshop on Biophotonics & Biomedical Optics 2025
The traditional Chinese-Russian Workshop on Biophotonicsand Biomedical Optics-2024 was held as the part of Saratov Fall Meeting(SFM) & International Conference on Photonics and Imaging in Biology and Medicine(PIBM). This workshop was designed to bring together Russian and Chinese scientists, engineers and clinical researchers from diverse scientific fields who are engaged in the application of optical, photonic, and imaging technologies to address challenges in biology and medicine. The scope of this bilateral event spans from fundamental research to the development of instruments, as well as biological and clinical applications.
The workshop covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to the following:
- Optical Interactions in Tissue and Cells
- Biomedical Spectroscopy, Microscopy and Imaging
- Multimodal Biomedical Imaging
- Nano/Biophotonics
- Advanced Photonic Therapeutics, Diagnostics and Instrumentations
- Tissue Optical Clearing and Drug Delivery
This call for papers is extended to all professionals and academics in the fields of biomedical optics and clinical biophotonics, with special emphasis on attendees of the Chinese-Russian Workshop. All submitted manuscripts will be subject to the rigorous peer-review process.
Submission deadline: 31st July 2025
Planned publication date: November 2025
