There is no page charge for publication in JMRR since this is not an open access journal. The open access option, however, is still available for authors wishing to make their papers accessible to the public. More information on the open access option can be found here.
Figures will be displayed in color in the electronic version with no additional charge. In the printed version, figures will appear in black and white, unless color is requested. If colored pages (in the printed version) are requested for, associated charges may be issued based on the number of pages in color. Colored pictures may also be printed at no-charge at the publisher's discretion.
Submission Guidelines
Submission – Manuscripts are to be submitted online via Editorial Manager (EM) at http://www.editorialmanager.com/jmrr/login.asp, a fully web-based submission, peer-review, and tracking system. Additional multimedia files (figures, slides, videos, codes, etc.) can be submitted through the same system. Authors are required to submit a Copyright Transfer Form (downloadable here) together with their source files. Submission of a manuscript indicates a tacit understanding that the paper is not actively under consideration for publication in other journals.
New Corresponding Authors – If you, as the corresponding author, are submitting via the online system for the first time, you will first be required to register. From the account you create, you will be able to monitor your submission and make subsequent submissions.
Co-Authors – Authors are required to provide the First/Given Name(s), Family Name(s) and valid Email Address(es) of all named co-authors of their paper. All co-authors on the paper are strongly encouraged to register as well. You will be able to make subsequent submissions from the account you create.
Manuscript Type – Currently, regular papers, short papers, and review papers are accepted for publication. Potential guest editors interested in organizing a special issue in the journal are encouraged to contact the Editor-in-Chief. Regular papers can have an 8 page limit in single-space double column format, excluding reference pages. Any regular paper violating the page limit will be returned without review.
Manuscript Preparation – Manuscripts are to be prepared according to the instructions provided. They should preferably be prepared using a TEX style file or MS-Word file. Authors are expected to check their proofs before publication. Detailed instructions can be found in the following links:
Figures – Figures/illustrations are preferably to be prepared with at least 3.5 inches in width, and the text in the figures should be typeset in at least 9 pt Times Roman. The figures are preferably to be in Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Videos – Authors who wish to submit videos along with their papers are to upload the Video files as Supplementary Material on JMRR's Online Submission Portal.
Reviewers – Authors are requested to recommend at least three and at most five reviewers along with their contact information (email address and web-page, if available). The choice of reviewers will demonstrate the author's level of expertise in the subject matter.
Papers will be reviewed through a single-blind process. Editorial decisions will be made based on the evaluation and recommendations of minimally 2-3 reviewers.
Copyright – Once a paper is accepted, authors are assumed to cede copyrights of the paper over to World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Appealing Editorial Decisions – Authors who wish to challenge editorial decisions by members of the editorial board/the editor-in-chief may appeal directly to the editor-in-chief via email, for their submission to be reconsidered. Authors may be asked to resubmit their papers on the journal's e-submission platform for review at this juncture.

Ethics Policies:
For studies involving animals and human subjects/material:
Research involving animals and human subjects, material, or datasets must have been approved by an appropriate ethics committee or review board. The manuscript must include a statement identifying the committee approving the experiments and provide any relevant details. This information can be provided in the Materials and Methods section of the manuscript. An example sentence could be: "The protocols and handling of the animals had been approved by [insert the name of the ethics committee]." Documentation to support the ethics committee approval should be made available to the Editor upon request.
Where human subjects or patients are involved, informed consent to participate in the study should also be obtained from participants. A statement describing such informed consent should be included in the manuscript. Evidence to support the informed consent should be made available by the corresponding author to the Editor on request.
The Editor reserves the right to reject a manuscript if the above are not adhered to.
Conflict of interest:
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (professional and/or financial) at the end of the manuscript. Financial support including any grants or support from companies should be mentioned in the Acknowledgments section.
For other general ethics guidelines, please refer to the "Ethical policy for journals" webpage.
