Materials and Emerging Technologies for Sustainability

Call for Papers

Materials and Emerging Technologies for Sustainability (METS) is pleased to announce a call for papers for our first issue. Our journal METS is a new interdisciplinary journal focused on publishing cutting-edge research and innovations in materials science, nanotechnology, emerging and sustainable technologies.

The first issue of METS will explore the wide-ranging applications and recent advancements in nanomaterials across diverse industries, including:

• Renewable energy systems
• Energy efficiency and storage technologies
• Advanced functional materials
• Air pollution control and wastewater treatment
• Hydrology and water resource management
• 3D printed medical devices and diagnostics

We invite original research articles, review papers, short communication, and perspective article that address the design, fabrication, and real-world applications of nanomaterials and emerging technologies aimed at achieving UN's sustainable development goals, for instance, SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable cities and communities), and SDG 13 (Climate action).

Submission Guidelines

Please submit your manuscripts using our online system via Editorial Manager. If this is your first time submitting, you will need to create an account.

We strongly recommended to submit manuscripts using the METS style template to reduce the amount of time spent in the production phase.

Submission deadline: 1st February 2025

Papers accepted for publication in METS may increase visibility and recognition for your research contributions.
