Aims & Scope
The aims of the TVJ are (1) to promote the exchange of veterinary sciences information, beyond the Asian Pacific region, to a global level; (2) to enhance the mutual awareness of the progresses that are ongoing in every corner of the global veterinary communities; (3) to promote the international cooperation on the prevention, treatment, control and eradication of animal diseases; (4) to actively engage the concept of one health one medicine for the welfare of both animals and human beings. Hence the TVJ welcomes the contributions from all corners of the world.
The TVJ considers contributions from the following, but not limited to, subdisciplines:
- Veterinary basic sciences: including epidemiology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology etc
- Infections, immunities and vaccinology of animals
- Veterinary pathobiology and diagnostic investigation
- Experimental animals and animal models of humans diseases
- Clinical medicine and surgery: including small animal medicine and surgery, animal welfare and shelter medicine, medicine and surgery of economic animals, aquatic, wildlife and exotic medicines etc
- Veterinary biotechnology
The scope of the TVJ will be adjusted according to the expert panel of editors or by the order of Boards of Trustee of CSVS and TAVSAH. Papers that are not conformed to the guideline (TVJ instruction for authors) will be returned without subjected to review. Papers that not covered by the expertise of international editorial board will be suggested to submit to other journals that are considered more appropriate.
