World Scientific Series on Science Communication cover
Editor

Anne M Dijkstra
Associate Professor in Science Communication
University of Twente, the Netherlands
Email: a.m.dijkstra@utwente.nl

The books published in this series deal with state-of-the-art developments in science communication. This includes public communication of science, i.e. with communication of and about science involving non-scientists and taking place in the public sphere.

This book series is open to analyses of all forms of science communication: science journalism, public relations of science, public participation or engagement, for example. It will publish analyses of content related to science communication research and practice. Books may be based on specific research projects, deal with important subjects or worldwide themes and contribute to theoretical discussion or science communication practices, or publish contributions of a science communication conference (proceedings).

Typically, authors and editors will come from the academic field and can have an academic audience in mind. Books may also be relevant for other audiences, for example, (science) communication professionals, scientists (as communicators), science managers and knowledge users.

The series will exclude works purely on science education in schools, scholarly communication in scientific journals, or health campaigns.
