Biography
Gideon Markman is a Full Professor at Colorado State University, Affiliated Professor at Audencia Business School, and Visiting Professor at Gent University. Professor Markman is an Editor-in-Chief of the Academy of Management Perspectives (AMP), and has been an Associate Editor of the Journal of Management Studies (JMS), Journal of Technology Transfer (JTT), and he led scores of Special Issues, including for the Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM). With over 14,000 Google Scholar citations (and almost 30,000 LinkedIn connections), Professor Markman's research focuses on diverse topics, including competitive dynamics, entrepreneurship, innovation, market entry, sustainability, and organizational behavior and his publications are featured in prestigious management, strategy, entrepreneurship, and supply chain journals. His scholarly work is also drawing attention from applied business outlets such as Bloomberg, Nature, and Inc. Magazine.
