TESS Patterns
TESS is a program which generates repeating surface pattern designs spontaneously. The program first selects one of eighteen schemes, or sets of rules, for creating a small square pattern in the upper left corner of the computer screen. Then it displays the pattern and propagates it in both directions so as to fill the screen.
