    Abstract:

In this paper, a monomer finish reagent synthesized by acrylic amide and glyoxal finished polyester cotton fabrics to improve the stiffness and wrinkle-resistant property. The results show that: the monomer finish reagent was very effective to improve the stiffness and crease recovery property; The breaking strength also improve a lot, the stiffness can improve from 0.05(N.m) to 1.15(N.m), the breaking strength of original polyester cotton fabric is 308.5N, after finished, the value can reach 362.5N, the crease recovery angle can improve from 209.2° to 260.2°. The whiteness improve a little. Analysis of FT-IR show there are amide compound on polyester cotton fabrics finished by finish reagent. The thermogravimetric analysis show that the thermal stability of polyester cotton fabrics have a little improvement.
