Special issue on International Conference on "Innovation-Driven Environmental Management and Regional Sustainability: Bridging Theory and Practice"

The editorial team of Environment, Innovation and Management (EIM)), Financial Inclusion and Green Economy Department of Bank Indonesia, Oita University, and Pacific Rim Sustainable Development Association are pleased to invite scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to participate in our upcoming international conference on "Innovation-Driven Environmental Management and Regional Sustainability: Bridging Theory and Practice."
This conference aims to bring together interdisciplinary perspectives to explore how innovation can drive environmental management and foster regional sustainability. By bridging theoretical insights and practical applications, we hope to inspire actionable solutions for contemporary environmental and sustainability challenges.
Conference Themes
We welcome theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented submissions on the following topics (but not limited to):
- Environmental Policy and Technological Innovation:
- Green technologies and their role in environmental management.
- Policy incentives for fostering sustainable innovation.
- Regional Sustainability and Environmental Protection:
- Resource efficiency and sustainable development at the regional level.
- Strategies for balancing economic growth and environmental conservation.
- Digital Transformation and Green Innovation:
- The role of digital technologies (e.g., AI, big data) in green transitions.
- Smart cities and sustainable urban development.
- Corporate Responsibility and ESG Management:
- Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and corporate innovation.
- The role of businesses in achieving sustainability goals.
- Climate Change and Risk Management:
- Climate risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Regional adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
- Tourism Economics and Sustainability:
- The relationship between tourism, environmental management, and regional sustainability.
- Innovation in sustainable tourism practices and its impact on local economies.
Submission Guidelines
- Authors are invited to submit full papers (up to 10,000 words) in English.
- Submissions should include a clear title, objectives, methodology, key findings, and implications.
- Please follow the author guidelines provided on the EIM website for submission format and style.
- The registration fee and payment information will be sent along with the Notification of Acceptance.
