Nano LIFE publishes original research articles and review papers on advances that improve human health and health care at all levels, especially those that address the critical issues in medical diagnosis and therapeutics, biomedical engineering, and environmental health with nanoscience and advanced materials. The aims and scope of the journal focus on the design, synthesis, assembly, characterization, simulation and artificial intelligence-based studies of nanostructures and microstructures for novel applications in all interdisciplinary fields that promote human health and well-being and foster healthy and safe environments.
Nano LIFE aims to publish high-quality papers in frontier research from the following topics:
Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine including medical devices, implants, and wound healing based on novel biomaterials especially those bio-inspired materials including generation of functional organs from stem cells.
Nanomedicine that deals with key issues in medical diagnosis and therapeutics with an emphasis on nanotechnology-based gene/drug delivery, cell targeting, medical imaging, and precision therapeutics.
Nano-biosensing of all sensitive biological elements such as cells, tissue, microorganisms, organelles, cell receptors, enzymes, antibodies, nucleic acids for health science research.
Public health related nano/micro technologies to combat virus pandemics with preventative strategies in surveillance of airborne pathogens and structural virus disinfection for a safe built environment.
Environmental monitoring of air pollution, water quality, and any atmospheric substances with negative impact on the environment and organism health with the advanced nano/micro technologies. Sustainability research that promotes ecological balances by utilizing natural resources to reduce the impact on environmental and human health.
