Integration of Multiple Regression Model in an Epidemiological Decision Support System

Prevention and control of influenza epidemics are major challenges for public health care services. Early identification of flu outbreak is an important step towards implementing effective disease interventions for reducing mortality and morbidity in human populations. Indeed, health officials need a real geo-making tool for monitoring and prediction. The aim of the current study is to discuss a novel spatiotemporal tool for monitoring and predicting the phenomenon of the seasonal influenza epidemic spread in the human population using multiple regression analysis. The suggested tool is mainly based on three sub-systems. It allows generating simulation data by the use of a simulation system, integrating data sources in a data warehouse (DW) system and performing a specific online analysis Spatial On-Line Analytical Processing (SOLAP). Our proposal enables also to illustrate evolution of disease through visualizations in time and space. It can examine social network effects to better understand the topological structure of social contact and the impact of its properties. A regression analysis is performed on the influenza epidemic to examine the main factors influencing flu incidence number and therefore to predict and track influenza epidemic.

Design and research of signal-level airborne electronic reconnaissance simulation system

Airborne passive electronic reconnaissance equipment has developed rapidly during recent years. However, because of its expensive and unavailable military features, the simulation realization of these equipment needs to be solved. And the smaller the simulation particle is, the better the simulation system will be. In this study, a signal-level airborne electronic reconnaissance simulation system was built. Mathematical model and simulation realization of each part are introduced in this study. Focusing on the shortness of traditional signal sorting methods, we creatively proposed a presorting method based on the Euclidean distance inside signal flows. Simulation results show that the presorting method based on Euclidean distance successfully reduced the pressure on main sorting and appeared good for signal sorting. Simulation test results of each model built in this study are also shown in the study. This study provides a new thought on the realization of airborne electronic reconnaissance equipment and benefits the development of electronic countermeasure.

Development of Press-Hardening Simulation System for Ultra-High Strength Steel Parts

The hot stamping process is strongly coupled with multi-physical phenomena of thermal transfer, temperature dependent material properties, material phase transformation in thermal cycles and large mechanical deformation. An integrated sheet metal forming simulation system JSTAMP/NV was designed and developed considering multi-physical characteristics occurred in the hot stamping process. Using a typical center pillar, formability was evaluated and hardness was predicted.

Design of sea wave impact simulation test system equivalent-mapping theory based

Only get passed in approval test and evaluation land-based, could shipborne weapon system (SWS) be loaded on ship for sea test. While in land-based test, how to simulate the effect of sea wave impact to SWS has been an insoluble problem for decades. For now, the frequently-used methods included building of large pool or developing of simulator to simulate sea wave impact. However, the two methods took on the problems of expensive cost, sophisticated test process, long test period, etc. In this paper, a novel easy and feasible method to simulate the influence of sea wave was introduced, which used a sea wave impact simulation test system in approval test of SWSs. On the basis of impacts modelling for multiple levels of sea wave, the ship movement under sea wave impact was superposed to the flying route model with combined use of equivalent substitution theorem, coordinate mapping and signal input simulation methods. Thus, the influence of sea wave impact on SWSs was simulated. Simulation and test results indicated that the simulation test system met the requirements of terrestrial type approval test for SWS.

Dynamic Modelling, Simulation and Analysis of HRSG of Energy Island System

Energy Island System (EIS) is a kind of high energy use and wide development prospect energy supply system that integrates cooling, heating and electricity generation with the energy being used step by step. HRSG is the main equipment to realize the heat reuse of gas turbine whose properties and parameters greatly affect the performance of other equipment and even the whole system. In this paper, the basic working principle of EIS and the working flow of HRSG were introduced, and a dynamic model of HRSG is established on the base of the law of conservation of mass, momentum, energy and so on. The structure and modules function of the simulation system was given after the comparison of the results of experiment and simulation system, and the simulation model proved reliable.
